GreaseTrapPath

Independent publishing project

Grease-interceptor rules are local. Start with the authority that controls your facility.

Explore GreaseTrapPath’s educational library about installation, pumping, hauling, disposal, manifests, permits, fees, and inspection practices. Verify every requirement with the current local authority and an appropriately licensed professional.

What GreaseTrapPath is

An independent publishing project focused on grease-interceptor, FOG, hauling, manifest, and local pretreatment research.

What it is not

GreaseTrapPath is not a regulator, plumbing or engineering firm, hauler, disposal facility, law firm, or permit service.

Current availability

The article library and guides are published while claim-level review continues. Template resources, forms, glossary, directory, reviews, interactive tools, accounts, and checkout remain unavailable.

Why the review gate matters

Requirements can differ by plumbing code, sewer utility, pretreatment program, health department, waste destination, activity, and property. A state-level summary cannot establish what applies to a particular facility or operator. Returned material must identify the controlling jurisdiction, primary sources, review date, scope, and limitations.

For a current requirement, contact the local authority having jurisdiction, receiving wastewater or disposal facility, and appropriately licensed professional. See the full disclaimer.

A future information product may include the Interceptor + Manifest Kit with optional License Watch. It is not currently purchasable. If released, pack plus subscription will remain default-selected, pack-only will remain available, and the recurring price, cadence, renewal timing, and cancellation terms will be shown beside the purchase action.
